Where is the finish line located?

The 2024 NYCRUNS Brooklyn Half Marathon finish line is located on Center Drive in Prospect Park.

Can I arrange for a checked bag to be available at the finish?

Yes. Runners can retrieve items at the Post Finish festival area by checking a bag at the 2024 NYCRUNS Brooklyn Half Marathon Expo on Friday, April 26 or Saturday, April 27.  While at the Expo, you will receive a clear plastic bag for your items to be checked.

You cannot check weapons of any kind, flammable liquids, fireworks, toxic chemicals, glass containers, alcoholic beverages, illegal substances, or any other items that are deemed dangerous. Baggage trucks will transport your checked back to the Finish on race day.

Is there a lactation area at the Finish?

Yes. There is a lactation tent adjacent to the medical tent at the Post Finish Area. 

Where should my friends and family meet me after the race? 

Due to security and space constraints, finish line access is restricted to those holding finish line passes only. There will be no direct access to the finish line. Finish line passes may be purchased here and at the expo.

We suggest athletes reunite with family and friends outside of Prospect Park. However, there will be a family reunion area adjacent to the post-race festival in the Nethermead (a short distance from the finish).

For those coming to the Nethermead, please do not bring bags to this area as they will be subject to search and refusal. No weapons or any kind, flammable liquids, fuels, fireworks, toxic chemicals, explosives, glass containers, alcoholic beverages, illegal substances, blankets, or any other item that security deems dangerous to participants, spectators, staff, or volunteers are allowed.
